Solid bar food and a good beer selection. The burgers and wings are my favorites but there's lots of options here. This is a great local spot to grab a bite, watch a game and have a drink. The staff is always friendly and when I've sat at the bar I've always ended up having a friendly conversation with whoever else is there. Haven't had a bad meal here in over a dozen visits. Family friendly during the day and early evening. Summer weekend evenings can get crazy but that's a whole different scene. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner or game day

As you can see, I liked it too much! The picture is of what I ate which was the steamed seafood platter. Was too hungry to take the picture before hand.

Ordered grilled bBBQ wings, and specifically asked for them not to be charred. And I bring home 20 burnt wings to my kids. Last time I'll order from them.

Service was uncoordinated, unorganized, unaware and uncomfortably slow. The food, when it arrived, was GREAT! Why a "2" vs. A "3"? - The manager. He/she did not assist his employees. They never got any help. Shame on him/her. Great place for food if you don't mind spending two, yes two, hours for dinner.

The Boathouse isn’t the most elegant spot in town but it can be the most fun. When out in Belmar, you will rarely choose to start your night here...but somehow it’s inevitably where you always end up.That said it’s got everything you’d expect from a solid bar and grill. Good drinks, great specials, and often a DJ to keep the good times going.

Decent bar. All really depends on time and day you go. Could be slammed and rocking late Saturday, or depressingly quiet and empty during the week. Very regular bar. A little run down. Food is okay. Soda is flat ;)

Food was actually pretty good, came to us quick and hot, prices were very reasonable as well. Atmosphere was slightly gloomy and quiet for a bar and grille, but I'm sure the time of day I was there is why it was like that. Check this out if you're in the area!

Great food and excellent service!

Server was attentive, wings were awesome! We ate all of them before I thought to take a picture. Onion rings were also very good. The potato skins were a very generous portion, but I was disappointed with the “cheese” factor! They weren’t cheesy, gooey goodness I saw in another post. They were also out of their grilled pretzels. But it’s the day after Christmas so I’m forgiving that. Great place for a drink & some good bar food!

Food and service was good. I would eat here again. Had a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon & cheese, home made chips are great.

Really good food. Had blackened tuna bites appetizer and NY strip steak. Big portions and fast service. Good prices too. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We ate there early. Might get crowded later, but they have a large staff. Good bar and sports watching. Would recommend.

Terrible food and service.Food took long not busy and was all over cooked.Save your money...McDonalds is a safer bet.

This was only part of the meal we ordered, every thing is always amazing here. The street corn was out of this world, as well as the vegetable panini. Have been going here for 5 years and the taste never fails to impress me.

Not impressed with their customer service. Be careful the group you go with because if the waitress decides to judge you, no matter your party size, they will add gratuity on anything!!!! They make assumptions on who is or isn't a good tipper. When I tried to contact manager about it they completely ignored me. IF I visit again, it will strictly be to give the waitress a nice verbal tip. Maybe she'll learn how to do her job properly.
